In 1925, Dr. Miller established the Shanghai Sanitarium and Hospital. Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital, the only private non-profit hospital in Tsuen Wan, has been serving its community since 1964. It is one of the 120 hospitals in the world established by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The mission of Tsuen Wan Adventist Hospital is to provide premier ethical leadership and multi-disciplinary teamwork to plan, establish, and manage a comprehensive range of healthcare services that promote a total healing environment and lifestyle as a private not-for-profit Christian business organization for Hong Kong, China, and Asia, with values consistent with the philosophy, teachings and practices of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
